Marine Masters was awarded the contract by the Mormugao Port Trust in India to refloat a chemical tanker and discharge the Naphtha cargo onboard. The tanker dragged anchor and ran aground off the coast at Goa during adverse weather conditions.

The tanker was loaded with naphtha and the engine room, pumproom and several double bottom tanks were breached. Marine Masters involved local suppliers and contractors to prepare the refloating operation and executed the refloating operation with a team of experienced salvage experts and dive teams from the Netherlands safely.
